View more presentations from Ernesto Samonte.
It's my favorite player. I've used it with win XP and Vista for some time and not had any problems. Great controls for tweaking the settings. VLC is capable of handling CDs/DVDs with "bad sectors". I really love this program. It's very easy so don't worry, you should try it out.

Wikipedia has this to say about the program:
VLC is a portable multimedia player, encoder, and streamer supporting many audio and video codecs and file formats as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It is able to stream over networks and to transcode multimedia files and save them into various formats. VLC used to stand for VideoLAN Client, but since VLC is no longer simply a client, that initialism no longer applies. It is one of the most platform-independent media players available, with versions for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, GNU, Linux, BeOS, and BSD.

How to use Spybot Search & Destroy

It found lots of nasties on my pc when i first ran it ,now i don't get any infections because the tea timer is protecting me, it works like a barrier from my computer to the web to avoid some bugs.I would recommend Spybot as your number 1 anti-spyware program, but you must leave the tea timer and resident shield on AVG anti-spyware free as your second choice scanner as it has no realtime protection but the daily updates and the detection rate is excellent.

Wikipedia has this to say about the program:
Spybot Search & Destroy (S&D) is a popular spyware and adware removal program compatible with Microsoft Windows 95 and later. It scans the computer hard disk and/orRAM for malicious software.
Spybot-S&D was written by the German software engineer Patrick Michael Kolla, and is distributed by Kolla's Irish company Safer Networking Limited. Development began in 2000 when Kolla, still a student, wrote a small program to deal with the Aureate/Radiateand Conducent TimeSink programs, two of the earliest examples of adware.

Dropbox is an excellent product. Sync'ing to the web is fast and does not slow down the computer. If you have other computers on your LAN running Dropbox, the LANsync feature makes sync'ing almost immediate. The web site is great too, showing details of recent activity on your account and shared files and folders. The free service provides 2GB space, but you can increase this to 5GB if you can get 12 referrals to sign up... each one gets you 250MB *and* the referred new customer also gets 250MB extra straight away. An excellent policy by the Dropbox folks. If you're looking to sign-up, please use this link and get yourself and me =)  the extra 250MB space: http://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTEwMjA4NjE5OQ
